What an unforgettable experience at the scenic falls cabin. Beautiful views around. The waterfall is absolutely breathtaking. The cabin itself was completely spotless and had instructions for everything. Nothing was short, the kitchen came fully stocked with plates, silverware, cooking utensils, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, anything you could think of. Heather also messages every step of the way with anything whatsoever and also has a very fast response time to any help you need. Such an amazing stay and I do highly recommend.

We stayed at Scenic Falls Cabin for a long weekend anniversary getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. Visiting in the winter made it even better with cozy nights by the fire and crisp, peaceful surroundings. The cabin felt very homey and was stocked with everything we needed. Waking up to the sound of the waterfall was a highlight of our stay. We loved starting our mornings with coffee by the water and ending the day relaxing in the hot tub, especially after a drive up to sugar mountain for some skiing. The location felt private and secluded, yet was still close to stores and just a short drive to downtown Sylva for a great dinner. Heather was an amazing host—very responsive and made check-in and check-out easy. She welcomed us with a charcuterie board after a long drive and even had treats for our pup, which was such a thoughtful touch. We would absolutely recommend Scenic Falls Cabin and would definitely stay again.

Heather’s cabin was beautiful and exactly as described. If we needed anything Heather was available and responsive. We were close to town and the local Dollar General if we needed anything, although Heather thoughtfully had necessary items at the cabin if anything was forgotten at home. I would 100% stay here again. Private, peaceful, and a great view of the waterfall and mountains.

Scenic Falls cabin was exactly as described and the perfect place to unplug, relax and recharge. We spent all of our time at the cabin and we all agreed it was the perfect place for the first part of our three part trip. We wanted to be surrounded by nature, secluded, and quiet. This cabin gives all of those things and more. It is rustic feeling but yet beautifully decorated and has all modern amenities, and supplied with everything you would need while there. Hearing the waterfall while outside brings even more peace and tranquility to an already beautiful and peaceful area. Heather, the host, communicated very well and was always available and responsive when a couple of questions came up. 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely come back if traveling in the area. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at the cabin! The host was incredibly responsive and kind, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming from start to finish. The cabin itself was beautifully styled—cozy, modern, and thoughtfully decorated—and it had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable holiday getaway. From the fully stocked kitchen to the inviting living spaces, everything was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

If you’re reading reviews to try and pick a place, you’ve found it. It really is everything it seems to be and the host is a delight. Incredibly thoughtful details, beautiful space and great location. Like really please don’t miss an opportunity to relax and unwind with the healing sound of a waterfall in the background. Heather thinks of everything so you can think of being away from the hustle and bustle.

It was a lovely cabin and was very clean. The waterfall was great and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was really nicely furnished, well-stocked, and Heather provided some welcome goodies that were much appreciated (including some treats for our dog!). She provided tons of recommendations and we enjoyed each that we went to. Heather was an excellent host. One note, if you're bringing your dog there is a fence for safety, but the property/yard itself is not fully enclosed.

This is an incredible cabin and the view is breathtaking. There is lots to enjoy both in town and at the cabin, I had everything I needed. Perfect location. The waterfall is definitely a highlight, it was so serene and peaceful. Heather is a fantastic host and was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. I would love to stay here again!

I don’t know where to start with AirBnB’s 1,000 character limit. A bit pricey, but 1010% (not a typo) worth it. All the space I would ever need to bring my family to a great holiday or special occasion event. I didn’t know until I got there but there was a waterfall and picnic area below the cabin, FYI I also didn’t know that four wheel drive is recommended. Given no extreme weather a Honda Accord will make it! Sorry but I did do a birthday suit jump into the waterfall pool. It was refreshing! So those who are reading this, you do have privacy! More to say, appreciate the place, will come back, and I only used 67% of my character limit. ;)

My Husband and I stayed at Scenic Falls Cabin for our honeymoon retreat, and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Heather went above and beyond to make us feel special. She had fresh flowers, chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne, and even Mr. & Mrs. champagne glasses waiting for us! The cabin itself was phenomenal- immaculately clean, well-stocked, completely private, and with stunning views. One of the highlights was the private waterfall on the property. You could actually hear the relaxing sound of the water from inside the cabin! Heather thought of everything. The kitchen had all the essentials, and the bathrooms were fully stocked with toiletries-she even included extras like toothbrushes, hair spray, deodorant, and combs in case we forgot anything. My husband and I had an outstanding time, and we’re already talking about coming back! Thank you so much! 😊❤️

We had the most wonderful stay at Heather’s beautiful mountain and waterfall Airbnb. Our Honday CRV did just great on the mountain roads. The house was truly spotless and everything worked perfectly. We cooked the whole time we were there and loved using the kitchen. Heather left us the most considerate welcome gifts and was super responsive, checked in on us, but still gave us the privacy we were looking for. The waterfall is an easy little walk down the driveway and it is truly beautiful. The days were nice and cool and we did cold plunges in the pool below the waterfall! I can’t say enough good things about our stay. It was everything we were looking for in a private mountain retreat and we truly cherished our time there. We are already planning when we can return! Short weekend getaway for my wife and I. Words can’t describe the experience of this unique property. We spent hours in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall relaxing on our raft. The house itself is cozy, quaint, and exactly as pictured. The yard is a great place to hang out day or night. We’ll definitely be returning to this amazing property!

First of all the setting, the house, the amenities, the peacefulness, the tranquility, was outstanding and literally breathtaking. But Heather as a host was the best part of it. I certainly do not know if we will ever get to this area again but if we do, this will be where we’re staying. All the nearby towns yielded fantastic restaurants, and kind people. Just what we were looking for. we owe a debt of gratitude to Heather as she was beyond accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

The cabin is perfect! It was stocked with everything! They even left out a bottle of wine and snacks for us at arrival. The location is very private and has its own large waterfall and swimming hole You can hear the waterfall while sleeping at night too. It was also so magical to swim in and have all to yourself! We hopped from town to town during our stay. Each town was a short 30 minute drive! We will be back!

This was hands down one of our favorite stays ever! The house is not only beautiful, but also incredibly cozy. Heather is truly an exceptional host. You can tell how much thought and care went into every little detail, from the personalized guestbook to the thoughtful amenities throughout the home. In our rush to catch a flight, we accidentally left behind our toddler’s toothbrush. We didn’t realize it until after we were all settled in. But sure enough, we found a little drawer stocked with all the essentials people tend to forget. That small touch saved us from loading up the kids and venturing out at night in an unfamiliar town. Total lifesaver! And the waterfall? Absolutely stunning. The entire property feels magical. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you again, Heather, for creating such a magical and welcoming space!
